Mother of Mercy Holy Card

The  holy card measures approximately 10,5cm by 6,5cm. the card is made of firm cardboard and has a vintage look and feel.

The card is a lovely addition to any collection of holy cards.

The picture on the front is pretty  and the Salve Regina prayer set out on the reverse is well known. this is recited with the Marian prayer of the rosary.

The words of the Salve Regina prayer are as follows:

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness our hope. To thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve, to thee do we send up our sighs,  mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.

Turn then most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. –

O Clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary
