Devotion to One’s Guardian Angel

Devotion to our Guardian Angel is an important part of Catholic Life. Our Angel can assist in navigating the sometimes treacherous journey to our Heavenly home. Many of the Saints foster a devotion to their angels, and some could even see their Guardian Angel such as Padre Pio. St Thomas Aquinas had the following to say:

“We are like children who stand in need of masters to enlighten us and direct; and God has provided for this, by appointing his angels to be our teachers and guides.”
